Ms. Pat was Facilities Manager of the New Iberia Veterans Memorial Building for the past 13 years. Her dedication and guidance made the Veterans Memorial Building one of Louisiana's most hospitable and beautiful places for any special event.
Her special trademark was floors that were so shiny, it was like looking in a mirror. The building was always clean and had a fresh smell when you walked in. To her the building had to live up to its name as honoring the veterans past, present, and future.
Her presence is felt through the many projects she initiated - new white chairs, a new cypress bar, new wooden blinds, new back doors for the handicap and caters, a new cover for the enclosed barbecue pits in the back, new round tables, among many others.
Her friendship, genuine smile, and helpfulness will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
